Pancake
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour
- 3.5 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon of white sugar
- 1.25 cups of milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of melted butter
Tools
- a large bowl
- a griddle or frying pan
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a hole in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter.
- Mix until smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle/frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Pour the batter onto the griddle/frying pan, using approximately 0.25 cups per pancake.
- Brown on both sides then serve hot.
